International Students - Electronic Hardware Design Courses
Canadian
Technology College (CTC) is authorized by Citizenship
and Immigration Canada (CIC) to accept and enroll international students.
The International Student Department of Canadian Technology College assists its
international students with any questions that may arise. Our counselors guide
international students through the application/admissions process, student visa
and immigration procedures.
Our multicultural staff also assists with personal advising cultural adjustment,
academic, social, financial, and vocational problem solving and other personal
issues. The office arranges for students to be welcomed at the airport when they
first arrive.
In order to be issued a Letter of Acceptance from the CTC, international applicants
must meet our general admissions requirements.

Admissions Requirements
International students are advised to apply early, at least 3 months in
advance. Please fill out our online application form.
International applicants are required to provide a certified copy of high school,
college or university transcripts for our evaluation. Foreign diplomas and supporting
transcripts must be translated into English
The applicants are required to pass and submit our online test
Computer keyboard entry comprises a significant portion of training time, therefore,
typing or basic keyboarding skills are a definite asset |
Counseling support
You can talk to our dedicated counselors about any
problems you may have.
Counselors at CTC adhere to the confidentiality guidelines outlined in the BAC
Code of Ethics and Practice for Counseling (Jan 1998). This means that any information
discussed with your counselor is confidential and will not be shared with anyone.
CTC assists its international students in many ways. We are doing our best to
make the experience for our international students comfortable and rewarding.
CTC provides assistance to students in arranging visits to local attractions,
such as Niagara Falls, CN Tower, Exhibition
Place, Royal Ontario Museum, etc.

Registration Fee
A registration fee of $ 500.00 (Canadian) is required ONLY after the first
three requirements are met. This registration fee is not extra, but part
of the tuition.
Canadian Technology College does NOT require international applicants to attend
ESL school before coming to the College. TOEFL is NOT required! |
English Language Classes
CTC
has its own ESL program. Students can enroll in ESL classes while taking any
of the computer courses at the same time.
When the above requirements have been met, CTC will issue a "Letter
of Acceptance" to aid you in obtaining a Student Authorization, which
will allow you to complete your studies in Canada.
